Irritable bowel syndrome

Irritable Bowel Syndrome - IBS is the most common disease among the functional diseases of the digestive system. We will explain in detail the causes and causes of the disease and how it is treated so that you can understand all aspects of the disease.

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)

It is a common disorder that affects the large intestine. Signs and symptoms include cramping, abdominal pain, bloating, flatulence, diarrhea or constipation, or both. Irritable bowel syndrome is a chronic condition that you will need to manage in the long term.

Irritable bowel syndrome symptoms

Irritable bowel syndrome tends to start in adolescents and young adults in their twenties, causing bouts of discontinuous and irregular symptoms. It is not uncommon for symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome to begin late in adult life, but it is not a rare condition. Attacks often occur when a person is awake, and it rarely wakes a person from sleep.

Irritable bowel syndrome symptoms include abdominal pain associated with or not associated with defecation, a change in the number of times of defecation (such as constipation or diarrhea), stool consistency (loose or lumpy, hard), abdominal expansion (flatulence), mucus coming out with stool, and feeling of incomplete emptying after Defecation. Pain may come in the form of seizures of persistent pain or colic, which are placed over the lower abdomen.

Other symptoms are drowsiness, gas formation, nausea, headache, fatigue, depression, anxiety, muscle soreness, and difficulty concentrating. Generally, the nature and location of pain, stimuli, and a pattern of defecation become relatively consistent over time. However, the severity of symptoms may increase or decrease or may change over time as well.

Irritable bowel syndrome causes

So far there is no clear cause of his infection, but it is believed to be caused by a combination of several factors, including:

  • Defective nerve signals in the digestive system and the brain.
  • Problems with movement of the digestive system.
  • Enlarged natural bacteria in the intestine.
  • Infection.
  • Genetics.
  • Food allergy.
  • Some psychological problems such as depression, anxiety, and others.

Irritable bowel syndrome treatment

Irritable bowel syndrome treatment differs depending on the person. If it is found that eating certain foods or that suffering from some kind of psychological distress causes the problem, it should be avoided as much as possible. In most people, regular exercise helps keep the digestive system functioning normally, especially those who have a tendency to develop constipation.
