Ipriflavone is a drug that is used mostly for the treatment of bone diseases in women. The Ipriflavone drug is synthesized in a laboratory. It’s made from a substance called daidzein. What is Ipriflavone?
The formula of Ipriflavone is 7-isopropoxy-3-phenyl-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one, 147. Ipriflavone is derived from naturally occurring isoflavones. The chemical formula of it is C18H16O3. - Stomach pain
Some research demonstrated that ipriflavone could cause decreased white blood cells if the patient takes it for longer, like six months or more. The decreased in the number of white blood cells is called lymphocytopenia. So it is required that the number of white blood cells is monitored in patients taking ipriflavone for a longer time.
Following precautions should be taken

The intake of ipriflavone decreases white blood cells, which affects the immunity of the body. The immunity of the body decreases by a higher intake of ipriflavone. If one's immune system is already weak, he/ she will intake ipriflavone for a longer period; then, his/ her body will lose the ability to fight off infections.
