Women have been using sweet golden fluid to enhance the beauty for ages. When it comes to improving your beauty with natural ingredients, you will find honey on top of the list. Honey is a sweet sticky golden substance rich in antioxidants and flavonoids. It is beneficial for both medicinal and cosmetic uses. 

Raw and unprocessed honey has the most potential for the skin. It can be used directly on the skin or by mixing with other natural ingredients to enhance beauty. If you cannot afford to go to salons every week, then the honey is there to save the beauty of your skin. There are many beauty benefits of honey, some of which include.

Acne Treatment

No one likes acne and those pesky pimples on their face. Raw honey can help to get rid of acne and pimples.

How to use it:

Just apply pure honey on your face and leave it for as long as you can. Wash your face with lukewarm water. Honey has potent antibacterial and exfoliating properties that help treat ache and prevent a recurrence. 

Slow aging and tightening of pores

Being rich in antioxidants, and enzymes, honey help to slow the aging and incredibly nourishes the skin. Make a paste using

How to use it:

  • I tbsp of honey
  • 2 tbsp of brown sugar
  • ½ tsp of lemon juice

Mix all the ingredients, apply on your skin, and massage slowly. Let it dry for 10-15 minutes and wash with fresh water. This process helps to rebuild skin moisture, reduces dark spots, and provides anti-aging properties to the skin. 

Moisturize Dry skin

Honey and avocado are the best blends for hydrating dry skin. You can use honey alone to hydrate your dry skin; however, beauty experts recommend adding almonds and avocado to the blend as they exfoliate dead and dry skin cells and provide softness to the skin. 

How to use it:

  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1/2 tbsp of mashed avocado
  • 2 tbsp of minced almonds
  • Voluntary drops of tea tree oil

Mix the ingredients and make a fine paste. Apply the paste on your face and neck. Wash with warm water after 10- 15 minutes. You will feel soft and moisturized skin.

Lip softener 

Don’t waste money on fancy, expensive lip balms. If you want soft, smooth, cushiony lips, then the raw honey is the key. Honey softens the lips and exfoliates dead cells.

How to use it:

  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1 tsp of almond or olive oil
  • 1 tsp of brown sugar

Mix all the ingredients and gently rub the mixture on your lips and let it stay for a while and wash with water. You can also apply this mixture every night before sleeping to get soft and smooth lips.

Yogurt and honey 

Apply honey directly on the face or mix it with yogurt for soft, smooth, and hydrated skin.

How to use it:

  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1 tbsp of organic yogurt

Apply the mixture of ingredients on skin and massage softly. Wash with warm water.

Nourishes damaged hair

Honey is a natural hair conditioner. It retains moisture and also repairs damaged dry hair. 

How to use it:

  • 2 Tbsp of honey (depending upon the length of hair)
  • 2 tbsp of coconut/almond or flaxseed oil

Mix honey with any essential oil and massage your hairs softly. After massaging, cover your hair with a shower cap and leave for 1-hour to let it absorbs and seep into the skin. Repeat the process twice a week for the marked difference.
